Flexible benefits ''aid the retention of talented employees''
Offering a comprehensive flexible benefits package can ensure organisations retain talented staff.
According to Workforce Logistics principal consultant Ken Beaumont, anything which is seen as a benefit is likely to motivate workers to stay with their present employer.
He pointed out that flexible benefits can also aid the recruitment process, especially when trying to attract "high level personnel".
Mr Beaumont said that offering personally-tailored hours is a positive step for businesses, as it allows staff to enjoy a better work-life balance.
"The higher up in an organisation people are the more likely they are to enjoy flexible working, because they are the people who decide whether or not they can work professionally in this manner," he remarked.
Last month, the Federation of Small Businesses suggested that flexible benefits could be a good fit for organisations with a low headcount.
Spokesperson Stephen Alambritis claimed that these types of operations can normally implement this way of working easily and simply.
