Childcare vouchers part of ''compelling'' employee benefits scheme
Parents at insurer Catlin are to be offered childcare vouchers as part of the company''s improved employee benefits offering.
The move comes part of a "compelling package" for workers at the finance firm, which also includes offers on web transactions and a cycle-to-work initiative.
Speaking to the Employee Benefits news source, the company''s benefits and international assignments manager Rebecca Prebble remarked: "We wanted to
differentiate ourselves from our immediate competitors."
The changes came after the firm reviewed its offerings using benchmarking techniques.
Staff can take advantage of the childcare vouchers initiative through a salary sacrifice method, while all staff and their partners are able to have a private medical check-up.
Last month, Unilever discussed details of its own employee benefits scheme with HR Magazine.
Health and vitality manager Brecon Jones said that a pilot of its Fit For Business scheme proved a success, meaning it will now be rolled out across the company.
