i-level modifies employee benefits package
i-level, the digital communications agency, has changed its employee benefits package in an attempt to better reflect the "young, innovative and digital" nature of the company.
The firm used staff surveys and focus groups to establish a desire to remove paper bureaucracy from the benefits process and to move towards an online system, HR Magazine reports.
Staff also expressed an interest in increased level of flexibility within the system, the opportunity to have face-to-face meetings to explain benefits and the provision of new benefits such as half-days off on birthdays and special training day vouchers.
James Miller, i-level''s HR director, told the magazine: "The communications felt really innovative and it was good using digital media because at the end of the day that''s what we''re about as a company.
"People have found it really good fun and I''m really, really pleased with the concept we have come up with."
This news comes a week after HR magazine reported that Sage, the business software firm, had launched a new flexibile benefits package for its UK employees.
