Sage launches new flexible benefits package
Sage, the business software firm, has launched a new flexible benefits package for its UK employees which includes core benefits such as pension and holiday in addition to extra employee benefits that staff can choose to fit around their lifestyle.
The company introduced pension salary sacrifice to generate savings on National Insurance Contributions with a 98 per cent take up, and these savings were used to develop a healthcare cash plan for all employees, HR Magazine reports.
Staff can go online to view their own unique total reward statements and make their benefit selections online, while they are also offered a range of exclusive discounts and online payslips.
Leisa Docherty, head of HR and reward at Sage, told the paper: "Offering flexible benefits enables our people to mould their package to their lifestyle.
"Since we are such a diverse and growing business, we also wanted to make the most of benefit efficiencies through salary sacrifice and improved administration."
Electronics company Philips recently rebranded its flexible benefits plan for its 2,300 UK employees.
