iPhone app offers exclusive discounts

A new iPhone app has been released that provides employees with the chance of exclusive discounts at a number of big name high street restaurants, without the need to endlessly print vouchers.

Known as Vouchercloud, the application allows iPhone users to take advantage of popular money off deals that restaurants offer - such as 20 per cent off or two-for-one - while they are on the move.

Currently on the apps roster is Carluccio''s, Cafe Rouge, Strada and Coffee Republic, and while the deals vary by venue to venue, they always provide a worthy discount.

Greg Le Tocq, from the application''s creator Invitation Digital, told econsultancy.com: "VoucherCloud is a mobile app which delivers mobile vouchers and eradicates the need for printable vouchers.

"The response has been phenomenal and in the first fortnight, we received over 150,000 downloads. We reached number one in the lifestyle chart and have been present in the top 25 free apps since day one."
